Research Unit One (RUO) develops policy-oriented research and strategic analysis to support institutions, policymakers, international organizations and stakeholders facing the legal, technological and societal challenges of the twenty-first century.
Drawing upon comparative legal methodologies and interdisciplinary expertise, RUO contributes to the development of evidence-based policies, regulatory innovation and institutional resilience across Europe and the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Our policy activities focus on translating scientific research into practical recommendations capable of supporting decision-making processes at local, national and international levels.
